SHORT DESCRIPTION OF THE HIKE: The track begins at the southern end of Hans Bay and is signposted at the entrance. The track is marked with orange triangular markers for its whole length. This is a steep tramp to the open tussock peak of Mt. Tuhua (1125m) and is suitable for fit people only. Weather and track conditions should be checked before setting out.
