A place so special, much of it is off limits. So special that there is a limit of 40 hikers at one time, hence why booking is essential. Along with this 32km trail, there is a range of wildlife that can be seen from butterflies to birds, crocodiles and dolphins. It's unique habitat also shelters rare and endangered flora and fauna, including the Apollo jewel butterfly.
This hike is for those experienced hikers out there who are after an adventure into the wilderness. Is this you? If so, grab your Lowa boots and head to Far North Queensland. Why not make a weekend of it?
