This is my second pair of Zephyr boots. They are sturdy but very light. My old pair are still perfect in the boot itself, it was just the nonslip soles wore down and needed to be replaced. I was very sorry that the new model no longer has the captive shoe lace system that made for a fast and easy way to put your boots on. I think this was a real step backwards. Let’s hope the new boots have a longer lasting tread. I really chose the Lowa boots because of the superior captive shoelace and was most dissapointed to see it gone. Thus a lower 4 star rating.
I stumbled around the bush for a few years in cheap boots, I eventually got sick of sore feet and shins so I invested in a good pair of boots.
These made a night and day difference to my hunting and hiking trips. 5 years, countless kms, one fire and a patch later I wouldn’t have any other boot for general purpose bush bashing.
Love the boots, put on the first time and walk for miles comfortably! Unfortunately my second pair lasted less then 18 moths. Only a recreational hunter, used all lowa protective products to no help. Sadly won’t be closing them again due to This, and I am due for new boots now. The price is high enough to have to pay that every 18 months
After fracturing my 2 & 3rd metatarsal a few years ago, these boots have given me the ability to get out and enjoy the mountains without any pain. Sooo glad I found LOWA! Nothing but raves from me!
I was issued these in the Army and wore them for years, after years of near constant daily abuse I had to move onto my second pair after 5 years. This boot will stand the test of time no matter what you're doing. Now I still use them today long after my time in the Army and can walk forever in them. So after seven years of use I'm still on my second pair of Renegades and I'll be buying another pair when my current pair finally kicks the bucket, which I don't foresee happening anytime soon.
My partner first bought these and she is loving them. So I decided to buy a pair as well and no looking back. Very highly recommended.
The fit is perfect for day use and day hikes alike. Quality so far is amazing too.
Not much to say other than awesome
I've had these boots for 10 years (Recreational Hunter) The best boots I've ever owned and they have been awesome. Hope My size comes in stock soon as I want to buy another pair.
The boots are great and was a prompt service, With my previous Lowa boots they’ve always come with some products to look after them but unfortunately not these ones. Would have been a nice touch when spending a $1000.
Acquired a pair of these through the Navy as a working alternative to the standard boot available.
They are a quality designed boot that offers excellent ankle support and prevent rolling inside the boot itself. The boot itself is very rugged and has proved itself across a variety of terrains. Consistent waterproofing will make these boots last multiple years.
Very satisfied customer, thank you.
Love the boots and they are very durable.
I took them on many trips to the bush and just love them. Now looking for a low ankle shoe from lowa.
Great customer experience- Thanks
Great product, very easy application
Great replacement insole - fit my Lowa’s perfectly and boy do my feet thank me! Should have done this months ago!
The boots are very comfortable and I did not have to break them in before setting off into the mountains.
Light and comfortable with zero need to break them in. These are highly functional boots that I would recommend to anyone.
Sold as a tough and rugged boot but the 'protective' rand is as durable as a wet paper bag, one boot started peeling after 2 hunts (30km) and the next pair on warranty failed after just 1 hunt, less than 10km. Many across the internet forums have reported the same troubles yet Lowa claim it is an unknown issue. Luckily the merchant honoured a refund and like many others, I will never purchase any Lowa products. The boot is comfy though and offers good ankle support.
No doubt. 21 days in no blisters. Comfort from day 1. Great support. Wear them every day in the hills in Canterbury, New Zealand for work.
Ripped at seams after 2 trips. Lowa wouldnt replace.
Prompt delivery and give my boots an extended life.
Great shoes but sizing too big and a size down, too small
Tried to get through hunting and fishing. Denied black ones existed.
Bought through lowa. Fast shipping. Exact product as requested.
The leather and stitching is good but the laces and insoles were low quality. Overall I think the boots are overpriced.
Sole of these boots only last 6 months before they broke away from the boot. Very short lifespan on these
