The shoe model is equipped and certified with effective protection of the ankle area against injuries caused by external influences (additional requirement AN).Protection of the inner and outer ankles is guaranteed by PORON® padding in the affected area. This material is characterized by particularly high shock absorption.
LOWA® Rayflect®
The upper leather of the shoe is equipped with sunlight-reflecting pigments. Due to the reflection, the leather and therefore the inside of the shoe heats up less and more slowly, especially with black shoes. This function makes working outside easier, especially in summer.
Orthotics Certified
The shoe is equipped with a removable footbed for optimal individual adjustment and, in conjunction with the orthopedic insoles ErgoPad® work:x and ErgoPad® work:h+ from BAUERFEIND®, is certified and approved for use as a work shoe in accordance with DIN EN ISO 20347:2012.
Resoleable
The Breacher GTX Mid is designed in a way during the development phase that they can be resoled. The upper of the shoe is retained, and a new sole is added to it. This process will extend the shoe’s service life and make a strong contribution to sustainability.
2 Zone Lacing
Thanks to the two-zone lacing system, the forefoot and upper have their own separately adjustable lacing zones. As a result, the footwear can be individually adjusted to the foot’s anatomy.
